BIO
My name is Amber Uyttendaele, and since 2018 I’ve been studying animation at LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, eventually graduating with a masters in the year 2022. In high school I studied Greek and Latin. The stories we had to translate made the study interesting for me, since I’ve always loved reading, telling and portraying stories. Together with my love for drawing and also creating characters and worlds, the decision to start a study in animation came naturally to me.
During my study in animation I have discovered a love for 3D animation. Both creating and animating objects are a big passion of mine. Most of my experience with 3D animation comes from the program ‘blender’, and I’m looking forward to learning to use different 3D software as well. While working on my bachelor and master film, mixed media became a big focus point as well. Mixing 3D animation with either live-action footage or with 2D animation has become another passion of mine.
